2018 FORD HENNESSEY VELOCIRAPTOR 6X6 REVIEW & CHANGES – Koenigsegg may have crushed the Venom GT’s top speed history at 277.9 mph having an Agera RS, but John Hennessey is maintaining hectic by having fun with his newest six-wheeled stuffed toy.
Recall the $349,000 2018 Hennessey VelociRaptor 6X6 that manufactured its debut at SEMA this 30 days? Effectively, it is back and this time we have to view it in motion. It will not break any speed data, but Hennessey claims it would zip from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds. In supplement to becoming fast, the VelociRaptor 6X6 boasts increased performance in soil and sand.
Under the hood, it receives an upgrade to its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine and now provides 600 hp thanks to a mega turbo boost, stainless steel-stainless steel exhaust adjustments, larger front attached air-to-air intercooler and plumbing related, and a retuned factory computer.
The VelociRaptor 6X6 features sealing rear axles, enhanced Fox suspension, 20-inch wheels and off-road car tires, custom front and rear bumpers, a rolling nightclub, and an LED light nightclub. Other updates include Brembo front and rear brakes, LED lighting, fancier interior trim, and an available armoring system. Hennessey states that only 50 are prepared for the U.S. and one more 50 for international customers.
